This camera is in excellent working condition and I am only selling because we can use the money during this season of our lives. I’m taking on less freelance gigs and focusing on my full time role. I’m the production director at my church so our needs are different in the live video world. Previously, I took on small video projects to earn extra cash. This is a great camera with wonderful results. My clients loved the results! I continue to do video work these days, but for my church using our in-house equipment already on hand.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
If you remove the black plate on the bottom of the camera, one metal threading is damaged. For this reason, a removable black cheese mounting plate is included and attached to the bottom of the camera to make for secure mounting to tripods and other mounting options. This plate has “lived” on the camera for the life of the camera and is very durable – more durable and safer than then mounting to the actual body of the camera. This does not impact performance of the camera at all and is a common issue found in Scarlet-W manufacturing. There is an indentation in the road case where this plate is located so it stays snug and safe during transport.
THE RED ROAD CASE
As expected of a used road case, the grey exterior of the case is scuffed and scraped. This is an extremely durable and excellent case. The interior of the case is well-maintained and clean. There is a slight indentation beneath the camera body slot to accommodate for the cheese plate which lives on the camera brain since the threading was damaged.
BATTERY — I am including a V-Lock Switchtonix battery – which only lasts about 30 minutes. This as a bonus! It’s not the best battery – but throwing it in.
MICROFIBER BAG – RED Branded microfiber bag. Includes a small stain. Not sure where it came from.
